About the watch
Case & bracelet
The case has a lot of material and sharp edges. Certainly the watch has been repolished, but it was well-done, conserving much of the case’s material. This is all the more spectacular considering that the watch is more than 60 years old.
The buckle and bracelet are in excellent condition too. The bracelet is the original one, reference 6251H. It has little stretch.
Accessories & extras
The watch is sold alone, without box or papers. We provide a Veritas travelling pouch.
Movement information
The movement is the original caliber 1570, which runs well. The watch is still waterproof, although we highly recommend not to try and meet fishes with it...
In-person viewing
Our watches are available for in-person viewing in Lausanne by appointment only. While we occasionally travel to meet clients in Geneva, Zurich, or Bern, Lausanne remains the most convenient meeting point. Unfortunately, viewings outside of Switzerland are not feasible.
