About the watch
In the rich and long history of Rolex, not many model lines can pride themselves in being as significant as the Datejust. Born in 1945, the Datejust has seen many variations of cases, bracelets, and dials combinations. This specific piece, with its white gold fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet, probably remains one of the least known yet most aesthetic Datejust configuration. The mesmerizing grey dial varies from a deep charcoal to a light grey that provoke the famous "ghost" effect, where all writings seem to disappear. This versatile dial gives the watch a lively and dynamic appearance on the wrist. The tritium of the hands and indexes sport a charming light patina, adding to that vintage feel of the watch. These beautiful features are visible through the resistant sapphire glass. On top of that, the overall condition of the watch is great, with still a lot of material on the case and sharp angles, making this timepiece the perfect one-watch collection and a must-have for anyone looking to wear a timeless Rolex.

The case has a lot of material and sharp edges. It has been very well preserved.
The buckle and bracelet are in excellent condition too. The bracelet is the original one, reference 62510H.

The watch is sold alone, without box or papers. We provide a Veritas travelling pouch.
Movement information
The movement is the original caliber 3135, which runs well.
In-person viewing
Our watches are available for in-person viewing in Lausanne by appointment only. While we occasionally travel to meet clients in Geneva, Zurich, or Bern, Lausanne remains the most convenient meeting point. Unfortunately, viewings outside of Switzerland are not feasible.
