About the watch
The Navitimer 806 holds a special place in aviation watch history, and the 1959 Re-Edition is Breitling's most faithful homage to the original model, reproducing its proportions, its slide rule bezel, and crucially, its domed plexiglass crystal, which gives the watch its unmistakable vintage character while housing a modern Breitling B09 movement. This example, reference AB0910371B1X1, was produced in 2020 as part of a limited edition. It was sourced directly from its original owner and has been worn only lightly, presenting very minor surface scratches entirely consistent with occasional use. The bracelet is equally well preserved. What makes this particular piece truly singular is its provenance: it was selected to feature on the cover of the book Navitimer Story, a distinction that sets it apart from any other example of this reference. It is offered with its complete full set, including the box, limited-edition certificate, international warranty, and all accompanying accessories. An exceptional opportunity for the Breitling collector.
